Abby celebrated her 5th, that's right 5th!!!!, birthday the other day. She is so excited to finally be "5".
We celebrated over a couple of days and she soaked it all in and LOVED every minute!
Here's what we did.
First off, Abby was one of the lucky ones that got to go to school on her birthday.
At preschool they sang to her. She got an awesome crown, a sticker, and got to pick a prize from the treasure box. She was walking on clouds when I picked her up!
That night I gave her the option of ANYTHING she wanted for dinner, even going to her fav restaurant Applebees (which, of course, was my choice!). She requested Red-velvet pancakes. So pancakes she got.
The next day (friday) was her party. I decided to have an ice cream sundae bar!
Abby and I picked a variety of toppings and treats. It was super cute and so much fun.
We had a house FULL of family and friends, but it was great to have everyone come and celebrate!
After everyone dished up their sundae's, we opened presents. She was high as a kite at this point and would not hold still, so I don't have too many great pictures. She got a bike helmet, some arts and crafts stuff, a new webkinz, and a butt load of money. Thanks everyone! Mark and I gave her a new bike. We had decided to wrap up only parts of her bike (the basket and streamers) and see what she thought of that. She was totally confused, and it was hilarious. We finally pulled out the rest of her bike and she was speechless, yep speechless. It was perfect!
I truly cannot believe I have a 5 year old! Where has the time gone!
Some things about Abby!
Her favorite color is yellow, as of right now!
Her favorite food is fettucini alfredo and obviously red-velvet pancakes.
Abby loves riding bikes and playing with her dolls
She LOVES to organize (I am so proud!)
Because of her mad organizational skills, I count on her alot to help me clean.
She is a great big sister and will be an awesome mom someday. (I kind of have some competition!)
She loves to help her dad mow the lawn.
Abby is a very good student and cannot wait to start kindegarten next year.
She is 5 going on 15! Seriously!
She is constantly dancing and/or singing. The girl does not sit still.
She has the loudest voice you'll EVER hear, and I don't know what to do about it.
She giggles at everything.
We L.O.V.E. Love you Miss Abby! Happy Birthday!!!
